Phir Mile Sur.. Na Sur Mila hai naa taal..

The starting scene is pretty cool, the green land depicting the green color of flag, the white is shown by the river whereas the saffron by the saffron colored sky. This landscape is pretty cool, spell bounding and mesmerizing.
The whole fuzziness starts with Big B singing "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara..." in some what rap style and as if some englishman is singing it, then suddenly it goes into classical mode which then give way to rock like singing. The first few minutes just shows how the classic can be turned into bullshit. Also, there is no synchronization between music and singing and music sucks big time.
As though this was not enough that in every scene we have a bollywood, kollywood or ...wood actor actress singing it, as compared to original Mile Sur.... in which a major film shows the common man. After watching it a very obvious question comes to mind, Do actors represent whole country??
Finally, I have to say, Phir Mile Sur me naa sur mila hai na hi taal bas agar kuch mila hai to kewal actor aur actress... Phir se sur milane ke kosis me Mile Sur ka murder kar diya gaya hai ..

FAQ - 1

FAQ's Frequently Asked Question: should be answered asap, but there are few of them which can neither be answered nor can be ignored.
I was also caught in the same dilemma of answering or not during my summer internship in Berlin, Germany, when infinite such questions have been shot at me by some of my German friends, by some unknown whom I met in train and at other places. These were those question which I tried to answer to my best capabilities but there were some which i was not able to. Here, are 10 politically and socially relevant FAQ, which I tried to answer to best of my knowledge and was very true to myself, else otherwise stated.

1) Do you like Pakistan?

I like Pakistan but not their leaders (I don't know how many time this question was asked to me and i always gave the above reply), I use to ask them counter question do you like Hitler.

2) Why you guys have so many bomb blast in your country?

How can you even expect me to know this.

3) Do you guys know from where the so called terrorist come to your country, if yes
then why don't your govt. stop them?
(whenever they asked me this question there was a wicked smile on there face)

I also feel petty for this, we know but we can't do anything.

4) What is your govt. doing for Kashmir?

They also gave me few suggestion regarding this matter, why don't u guys give up on Kashmir and make it a independent state or give it Pakistan, as Muslims are major in Kashmir......
Dude! we have more Muslims than Pakistan, so should we give whole India to them who even can't control a country which is smaller than the biggest state of India and stood on the verge of yet another divison.
The blatant and straight forward reply made her quite, this was asked by non other then the wife of my Guide.

5) What type of government is there in India?
(Believe me most of them didn't know about their govt.)
You are one of the most or I should say over developed state of the world, best in technology but you don't have any knowledge about the largest democracy of the world. How ill informed you are. Oh! sorry do you know about your own state?

6) Do slum dog millionaire depict the true picture of your country, does whole of India have slums?
What the fuck! you all always have to look at the bad part of the third largest Economy of the world, don't you guys think that we have progressed a lot in last 60 years. I said this even though i was bit skeptical about it.

7) Do 'The White Tiger' by Arvind Adiga depict the true picture of India, why do Indian Bureaucrats and govt. official take bribes?
I didn't had any reply for this but yeah this question use freak me out, as it was very very frequent question.

8) How many gods are there in Hindu religon, whats the name of god with 12 or so number of hands?

I am an atheist, don't talk about this stuff to me. They always use to pain m with this question.

9) What are you, hindu or muslim?

I never wanted to reply this question but when forced i said, I am hindu because of my parents.

10) Is child labor still there in India?

Yeah, it is but govt. is taking required measures to stop it.

...... to be continued in FAQ-2

1st day of data collection

Ah! you all would be thinking about which data collection I am talking about. Please let that be suspense for few more line before I break the shackles and bring out the secret to you.

The day for which i was waiting since I came to NBRC happens to be on the last day of June and the first day of new week. Yeah u guessed it correctly it was 30th June, 2008. The day being with couple of calls which disturbed my sleep, one by mom and other from some unmentionable source, as i was unable to attend it. Even though it's the first day of week, i wanted to be the last day of week. But I am not almighty that all my wish will be granted and so this one was not granted. I got out off bed against my will as i was getting late for lab, but to my surprise i was the first one to reach the lab. Chalo kam se kam kabhi to phela pahuch gaya, last ek week se Ma'am phela pauchte the phir mian. But still i was feeling sleepy their but before i could go for other nap bucnh of my lab mates(to be correct summer trainee) entered the lab and disturbed my sleep(yaar log ye kyu nahi smjhte ke is duniya me sabse pyari chej neendh hoti hai, mian ye to apne mummy ko samjha samjha ke har chuka hoo, per wo hai ke roj subh call kar ke mujhe disturb karte hai, mummy please thoda wait kar liya karo). Then finally comes the Ma'am, for whom all of us were waiting.

First word which Ma'am spoke after entering the lab was "Pawan come here", Oh! my god y the hell she is calling me, as though I am feeling sleepy what the fucking work she is going to give me. But I was surprised when she told," That doctor replied and he has said that we don't have any specific day for PD(Parkinson's Disease patient), so we can go today for data collection, but it is very unlikely that we will get any PD patient today". Wow! i got to meet PD patient I will get to see y this guys are so special or to say y world is investing so much money on these guys.... oh! what a experience it would to meet guys who are not normal(for me it was kinda of adventure). Frankly, speaking I thought these guys to be completely alien. After taking all my tools and other things I got ready to meet these aliens( don't take it anyother sense). After waiting for two hour for we got the indica which will take us to PARAS. Full of excitement i was just waiting to meet these guys. Running through NH-8 we reached one of the well renowned hospital of city: PARAS Hospital, the best in the city, it was clearly evident from the number of departments they have and if this was not enough they have fully air conditioned hospital...... y the hell I am deviating from my topic.

As ma'am has instructed to go and meet Dr. Praveen Gupta of neurology dep.. After doing all inquiry about Dr. we went to meet him, as ma'am has said he is young and so talk politely( i am wondering till now y ma'am said that specific line....). After short introduction he informed me that so called alien has gone and there is least possibility that any more alien are going to come today, saying these words doctor ran into his cabin as if we were about to rape(we r still normal Mr. doctor) or robe him. What to do now, call ma'am said my frnd... y this ideas doesn't strike me.... tip tak tip..... hello Ma'am Pawan here, Dr. said blah blah ........ . Tell him that alien won't give data unless u(doctor) tell him to give. Like a disciplined and obidient soldier we went to doctor again.. tak tak doctor Pawan here i want to talk to you, please wait outside i am diagnosing a patient, yes sir. 10, 20, 30 min,oh! my god how much time is he taking, what he is doing inside?????

31st minute, our dear doctor showed his glimpse and we like his fan ran behind him, sir ma'am said........................ can u wait here for whole day? yes sir, wait... sitting there we saw lot of patient running in and out, but our dear dr. was not visible anywhere. In middle of everything came inside a girl(i think u can understand y i am talking abt her...) with her boyfriend or husband(actually it was very difficult to guess). The first thing which i spoke, what the fuck he made this girl pregnant, he could have waited for some more years, y the hell he did this?? I didn't notice her was the words of my frnd who accompanied me to hospital. Again I deviated from main topic, actually I think i have habit of deviation.

After some 2 hr of waiting the moment came when we were able to see our dear....(oh! i am feed up of using that word, i think this guy doesn't deserve the word dear..) and his only words were," come on Wednesday morning between 9 to 10 am". Aha! finally he said something.... chalo hum aab wapis jaa sakte hai. What do you think about lunch in Haldiram, i asked my frnd. I would love it.

Phone, tip tip tip....... hello amit, main Pawan bol raha hoon main aap ka wait kar raha hoo, aap jaldi aajayo humko wapis jana hai..... bhaiya haldiram chalna. In few seconds we were on the highway cruising at the speed of 110kmph and in few minutes we reached haldiram. After placing order we meet the so called budhau of NBRC(name given by me.....) and all the mess started after that. Car's engine failed and we were forced to travel by Dharuheda...
Heat, Bus, stinking people are etana kam tha dimag ko kharab karne ke kam tha ke a rod fell on my leg and i got injured . Chalo etane tasalle the ke thode der me NSG pahuch jaunga... per it is still 2km from NBRC(jungle me bana hai ye institute, koi facility nahi hai yaha).

Ah! finally i reached my room and slept there aur phir neendh toote to mummy ke phone call se(pata nahi kaun se dusmani hai mera neendh aur mummy me).
Are yaar pura din barbad ho gaya per i was not able to meet those aliens for whom i had to under go so much trouble. Phir raat aaye, I don't think night should be described here...............
finally when i went to bed i had with two thoughts: chalo i will meet those aliens on Wednesday,
and second: do these doctors really deserve the respect which give them, truly speaking these doctors sucks at their social life( i can say this both from personal and professional experience)..
Doctors are the fellows who are having wrost social life in this world...... abe shudhar jao yaar, thoda socialise ho jaoge to kuch nahi ho ga... but u will feel gud. Are koi en doctro ko Munna bhai MBBS dekha do..................................................

PS: I used alien for PD patient because i was going to meet them for first time and i hate using word patient each time and it's humble request please don't give this doctor so much respect.

Is India still a free land?

Few years back I thought that I live in a free country and the country which is one of the fastest developing in world. I live in country where i can fulfill all my dreams and i thought that someday i will surely repay what this country has given me. But now i know how wrong i was at that time.
No doubt my country is still a independent land but not in true sense. 60 year back it was ruled by Britishers and now it is being ruled by bunch of policy maker who are totally selfish. These are those guys who are representative of whole country but instead of representing whole country they are now becoming the representative of a group of people who can fetch them a big vote bank. I am not interested in talking about this policy maker because i don't think these guys require any discussion as they are already exposed to the public, but i am interested in discussing the policy made by these supposedly very intellect and respectable guys who are sitting in the most respected house of our nation, The Parliament of India. Few polices and steps by them to get the support of mass, which made me to think, Is India still a free country?

Regionalism:
We blame Britishers for diving our motherland into three part India, Pakistan and Bangladesh but how can we forget that it was the greed of one of our great leader which lead to division. The present days politicians are also following the footstep of that very leader( I am not sure which word should I use here, should I use leader or leaders). The present row of violence done on North Indians in Maharashtra present the beautiful example of regionalism. The spark of this fire was agitated by the MNS chief in Mumbai and is now spreading in whole of Maharashtra or to say whole country. MNS chief is not doing something new but is following the footstep of his uncle who did the same thing with South Indian in 60's to get power and was successful in fulfilling his desire for power. Who knows that in coming election of Maharashtra the chief might be successful in getting the power but do he really deserve it.
The other example comes fron the North East of country which has never considered itself as part of India. The violence on Biharis In Assam, the continuous strike, bandhs, stampede and violence for Gorakha land by Gorakhas in Bengal, does nothing but adds fuel to the fire of regionalism. Oh! how can forget about the demand of Vidarbha in Maharashtra and one more division of Uttar Pradesh in Purvanchal. This all started before the fire of Khalistan is completely extinguished. Oh! who can forget the Great Massacre of 84 when thousands of shiks were killed on the roads of Delhi and other part of country, by the activist of the party which played a significant( i still have a doubt about it) role in getting India independent. How can one forget that Southern region of India is no good in this regard. Some regions in southern states are not ready to accept Hindi and north Indians. Don't accept North Indian but whats the problem in accepting Hindi, which is our national language and supposedly all proud Indian should have a minimal knowledge of hindi. But instead of giving basic education of hindi, government of one of the state in south have banned the basic education of hindi in state government run schools. History has showed all those leaders who have followed the policy of divide and rule were successful, but isn't that they same policy were responsible for their downfall. The bloody politicians are doing the same for their benefit but they don't know that this might take India on the verge of some other division also.
This and many more things make me to ask question Is regionalism greater than nationalism? and Is right to move freely in Indian territory still holds? and , i don't think there is any end to this 'and'.
Reservation: How can one forget the new fragrance of reservation present in air. Reservation is the hottest topic of discussion in every part of country, some are discussing about it harms and some are how to get maximum benefit of it. Do we know this policy of reservation was brought into force after some 40 years of independence to save the government of very same party which i mentioned before( you all would be thinking that i am writing this blog against that govt., no i am not doing that just it might be matter of coincidence that everything which i have noticed happened in during the rule of their govt. and so i think they should be blamed for this.). 22.5% reservation after 40 years of Independence, 49.5% after 60 years of independence and who knows what new we will have to face in future.

We all aware of the fact that reservation are being done only in higher education but do govt. ever tried to find out what will be the use of this reservation without imparting basic education to the peoples for whom this reservation is being done. It is well known fact that if base is strong building can withstand in any circumstances but what will happen if base is not strong, it won't be able to withstand even the mildest of storm. Same can be observed for the reserved category student going into some premier institute of country. They can't cope with the pear and academic pressure their and end up ruining their life. Can govt' give a single example of this category of student who has done well. No it can't, it's not fault of these candidate it is the fault of govt. who send them for higher education without giving them the basic knowledge. But y should govt. care about basic education they as they don't get any vote from school going student but they get vote from college going student ie. student pursuing higher education.
This was not enough for our respected government that it passed the bill of 49.5% faculty reservation in all the govt. run institute in country, with immediate effect in all the IITs. Why the hell this fucking govt. is behind IIT. Wasn't opening 6 new IITs enough that they gave reservation in faculty also. Oh! sorry I missed out one point where will those guys go after completing their 4 year btech program in 6 to 7 years, they should again go to IIT. Do we know that reserved OBC seats were not completely filled due creamy layer funda. To fill this vaccant seat govt. raised the income level of creamy layer from 1 lakh to 6 lakh, even though govt.new the fact that per ca-pita income in India is $1000, atleast 500$(taking conversion factor of 1$ = Rs 40) less than the fixed upper level for creamy layer. So, now the door of that institute, that is known for it's intellect, is now open for every fucking person in India.

Wow! a gud news for girls now they can also make to IITs, as our dear President asked for an IIT exclusive for girls in her home town and to no one surprise this bill was passed with full consent of Parliament and this IIT will start functioning from next academic year. So now dreams of girls studying in IIT is not far and also they won't have to compete with boys. So, y the hell girls ask for equality on every front. Who knows if someday a unac becomes president of India and demands for a separate college in every field for them(i am not writing this hurt anyones feeling, this is just an example) And trust me days are not far off when their will be reservation about what a class of people should eat, their will be shine boards addressing" only people of this .......(class) and intrudes are liable to be prosecuted" and many more.

Are we really being treated equally, no we r not, y we r not treated equally. Isn't that it is written in our Constitution that everyone should be treated equally. Y particular group of people are being given more importance than other? Y the hell this politicians are violating constitution? Can someone tell them the meaning of constitution and harm of the reservation.

There are many other topics like corruption, exploitation, removal of TADA and POTA etc which I would like to discuss but this blog is getting bigger and bigger so i would like to conclude this one and will come back soon with other blog with same title.
Isn't that we can conclude that how can we say ourself, free when we are not free to move in our country, when we are not being treated equally. Isn't that we are on the verge of few other divisions? Do we think we will be developed by 2020....hehehehe, give me break leave developed, when there will be no India how can we talk about it's development. So, i don't think there is any harm in asking Is India still a free country? Does free land means free country?
P.S: Now it's totally upon readers to tell whether i have justified myself or not.
Sorry I have hurt someones feeling through this blog.

it's cricket time, high time, but how long...

Cricket, the game which all Indians like to play and watch. Frankly, saying it is the only game which has crossed all borders and barriers in the country and have become a game which represent India. It's the only game which has players from all part of country, ulike hockey which is still dominated by players from north, tennis which is dominated from players from south.
It's the only game in which we are getting players from the smallest city of the country, for example, our very captain of ODI team is from a small city "Ranchi", R.P Singh is from "Raibarelliy", city which is not known to many. Not only this, 'n' other examples can be found at various level of cricket going on in country. But i am not interested in discussing anything like that. The topic which i am going to discuss is present fight going on between IPL and ICL and it's future effect on Indian cricket.
Yesterday, all of us saw various franchise of IPL from different part of country were bidding for the players and were buying them to play for their side. Chennai bought Dhoni for 1.5 million dollar, Pathan brothers were bought for 1.4 million dollar and several other players were bought at different value. IPL kicks off somewhere in April, and no doubt it is going to be huge success like county club in Egnland, but it would be more successful than that, because it is based on 20-twenty format, which people likes to watch as it is a 3 hour game. These leauge will no doubt will give cricket of high calliber for ODIs and 20-twenty cricket, as crickter from all over the world are participating in it. But not at the same time it is going to harmful to Indian cricket.
Our dear, selectors threw out Sourav and Rahul because they want to make a team for 2011 world cup. But not at the same time introducing cricket clubs which are totally focused not 20- twenty format will ruin the players because now and onwards non of the player will try to learn technique and basics, but they just try to learn how to hit hard and get maximum run in minimum possible ball, because this is something for which they are going to be paid. This type of cricket will totally ruin the god all types cricket matches viz. Test cricket, as test cricket is the game of technique and patience and this type of club and cricket can't produce the cricketers of that calliber.
At present we can't find a player who can substitute Rahul, Laxman and Sourav, and mind it IPL has not started functioning. So in future forget that we are going to find a substitute for Sachin. Isn't that this type of league will destroy the carrer of bowlers or say in other way, no will want to become bowler as this game is dominated by batsman. Bowlers are not given there right value. So in future we are not going have only shortage of class batsman but also of level bowler. So, i have only point to make here, by starting this type of clubs where we are heading. Isn't that we are destroying our own future. In want of more money and to destroy ICL, is the move taken by BCCI is justified, this will totally ruin the future of Indian cricket. Things which seems to be fortune today will be a blunder tomorrow. So, I think it's a cricket time, but how long.
It's now totally depends on readers to tell me whether i am able to justify my point or not. Waiting for your comments.
