it's cricket time, high time, but how long...

Cricket, the game which all Indians like to play and watch. Frankly, saying it is the only game which has crossed all borders and barriers in the country and have become a game which represent India. It's the only game which has players from all part of country, ulike hockey which is still dominated by players from north, tennis which is dominated from players from south.
It's the only game in which we are getting players from the smallest city of the country, for example, our very captain of ODI team is from a small city "Ranchi", R.P Singh is from "Raibarelliy", city which is not known to many. Not only this, 'n' other examples can be found at various level of cricket going on in country. But i am not interested in discussing anything like that. The topic which i am going to discuss is present fight going on between IPL and ICL and it's future effect on Indian cricket.
Yesterday, all of us saw various franchise of IPL from different part of country were bidding for the players and were buying them to play for their side. Chennai bought Dhoni for 1.5 million dollar, Pathan brothers were bought for 1.4 million dollar and several other players were bought at different value. IPL kicks off somewhere in April, and no doubt it is going to be huge success like county club in Egnland, but it would be more successful than that, because it is based on 20-twenty format, which people likes to watch as it is a 3 hour game. These leauge will no doubt will give cricket of high calliber for ODIs and 20-twenty cricket, as crickter from all over the world are participating in it. But not at the same time it is going to harmful to Indian cricket.
Our dear, selectors threw out Sourav and Rahul because they want to make a team for 2011 world cup. But not at the same time introducing cricket clubs which are totally focused not 20- twenty format will ruin the players because now and onwards non of the player will try to learn technique and basics, but they just try to learn how to hit hard and get maximum run in minimum possible ball, because this is something for which they are going to be paid. This type of cricket will totally ruin the god all types cricket matches viz. Test cricket, as test cricket is the game of technique and patience and this type of club and cricket can't produce the cricketers of that calliber.
At present we can't find a player who can substitute Rahul, Laxman and Sourav, and mind it IPL has not started functioning. So in future forget that we are going to find a substitute for Sachin. Isn't that this type of league will destroy the carrer of bowlers or say in other way, no will want to become bowler as this game is dominated by batsman. Bowlers are not given there right value. So in future we are not going have only shortage of class batsman but also of level bowler. So, i have only point to make here, by starting this type of clubs where we are heading. Isn't that we are destroying our own future. In want of more money and to destroy ICL, is the move taken by BCCI is justified, this will totally ruin the future of Indian cricket. Things which seems to be fortune today will be a blunder tomorrow. So, I think it's a cricket time, but how long.
It's now totally depends on readers to tell me whether i am able to justify my point or not. Waiting for your comments.

how to make something interesting, uninteresting....

" One should do the things or work in which he/she is interested", this is the line which i have been told by everyone since my childhood. So, I always tried to do things in which i am interseted. I prepared for jee because I wanted to do b.tech from any one of the seven IIT's. After qualifying jee, i thought that i should do something different and I opted for biotechnology in IIT Madras, hoping that i would get to learn something new, which will be very interesting and something which will be very useful for me in future. But in due course of one and half year my stay, I came to know that how wrong I was.
Sem by sem 3 sem passed and i thought at least in one of the sem i will get something interseting and different to learn and know, which non of the other engineers get to learn. And finally, my this wish came true in my 4th sem, when i got to do courses like Biochemistry and Genetics( i am learning some other courses too but they are not worth mentioning here, because chemical guys also learn them).
Anyone who would be having slightest knowledge of bio and chemistry, can tell how interesting would be the combination of both. Yeah the combination made by the two, biochemistry is very interesting and as a subject it offers us lot of things to learn, some of which are protien modelling techniques, techniques involved in estimation of various bio molecules etc.
During course of my prepration for quiz for biochem, i came across these interesting topic and learned them thourghly. But my this preparartion cupped badly in quiz because the paper was too maggu level and any maggu can score cent percent marks in this paper. I would like to highlight some of the things which we had to mug, 1) structure of 20 amino acids, 2) enzymes and their co-factors, 3) enzyme and their function , 4) two amino acids which are helix breaker, mind it ! not the reason y r they helix breaker, and last but not the least bond dissociation energy of C-C and C=C bond. Are above quesions interesting and r they going to generate any interest in the students, r the maggu type question would prepare us for the industries, where all aspire to work after completing our b.tech, i think NO!!!!!, they can't generate any interest but they can kill the interest, they are not going to preapre us for any indursty( i brought industry here in disscussion because our respected dean has stopped foregin interns in 3rd year because he want students to have experince of indian industry) . By making the question maggu level, prof has tried to make an interesting subject uninteresting. Now and onwards non of us will try to read and understand the concept but we will just mug the important tables and womit them in exam, because non of us wnat to learn, we just want to get decent grade and maintain our Branch or Insti position. Non of us will take interest in class and put enough effort to learn concept, so we will never get to know the beauty of subject and lastly, by framing such type of question papers profs are just taking us on the path of which there is no end, in short if profs continue to do so, the product of IIT's won't be that good as it is supposed to be, which will lead to the fall of standard of IIT( standard of IIT is already falling becasue of dirty politics going on in country). As result of which junta who is interested in IIT will loose their interest, in the same way as i lost my interest in biochemistry.
